These gifts are things that they’ll really be able to appreciate, especially in the more difficult times of life with a disease like this. You know, things to help them when they need it most. You could just get one of these as a stocking stuffer, or put a few together and make a care package. Either way, it’s going to make your Christmas shopping easier.

Face mask

A face mask that they can make at home is another nice gift for your friend with Endometriosis.

Of course, if you know their skin type or a face mask they really like, you can get that. Otherwise, I really love this one.

I’ve tried using it with water and apple cider vinegar and I can report that it’s best with apple cider vinegar. It smells gross with ACV but it mixes way better and really clears up your face.

Dandelion tea

If you’re putting together a care package for a friend with Endometriosis then Dandelion Tea is a helpful item to add.

I always keep some at home and travel with a couple of tea bags because it’s super handy if an Endo flare strikes.

It’s a diuretic that helps relieve the extreme and painful bloating when it occurs. Not the kind of thing you drink before bed, but super helpful when you need it.

Muscle relief patches

These are handy when the aches and pains of an Endometriosis flare kick in.

I use these heat patches when I travel because they’re light and easy to pack and non-liquid. It’s kind of like a muscle relief cream but in patch form instead of liqud so convenient for travel and on-the-go.

They come in handy after a long flight or big day of walking or hiking because usually my muscles get quite achy after those.

Make travel easier

If your friend likes to travel, I recommend a Priority Pass membership as a gift.

I use this and it adds a little extra comfort to the long travel days.

With this membership, you can visit the lounges they’ve partnered with at airports around the world. I’ve been able to get free meals, drinks, wi-fi, lounge area all around the world from Dubai to New Zealand to Aruba.

Also, the bathrooms in the lounges are always much better!

Best of all, it just allows you a chance to rest in a comfortable space which is handy when your body starts fighting the internal war that comes with a chronic illness.

Something comfy for home

A simple fact is that when you have Endometriosis, a lot of life is just plain uncomfortable.

If you’re trying to decide what gift to get your friend with Endometriosis, then a comfort item is a fantastic idea.

Think of things like a comfy sweater, cute slippers, a cozy blanket, or a fluffy robe – something to feel cozy and comfortable when at home.

Date IOU

Quality time is always the best gift.

It’s personal, meaningful, and something that can’t be bought.

You could write an IOU note for them to ‘cash in’ when your schedules allow for a date. Maybe a movie, coffee date, hike, museum visit or anything you like doing together.

If you don’t live close enough where that’s possible, I think a book like this is super meaningful and can give a much needed boost on hard days.

Massage roller

This goes back to the muscle aches that come with Endometriosis and a massage roller can be a helpful gift your friend can use over and over.

Here’s a hot and cold massage roller that would make a useful gift.

Day spa voucher

I like the at home products best because then the person can get a little comfort when they need it most – often times with a big Endometriosis flare it would be harder to leave the house. They can also be used more than once which is a bonus.

But, if you’re a bit lost with the at-home spa products, another idea is to gift them a voucher for a local day spa.

This way they can choose for themselves what treatment would suit them best and it’s a nice little luxury outing.

Snacks

A nice treat always makes for a great gift.

If you know your friend likes a certain type of chocolate, place to eat, or another kind of food, add that to the care package. Of course, if it’s a place they like to go to eat, you could add a voucher to that place.

Door Dash or GrubHub vouchers can also be really useful so they can order food when an Endo flare strikes. I’ve gone without eating many times because it’s been only me at home and too difficult to make food during a flare.

Another option is to send a gift box of foreign snacks. Try The World have a subscription box service of foreign foods, but you can use the buy as gift option to just send one box.

Take a food journey around the world

Travel journal

Of course I was going to shout out my KSB Travel Journal.

I believe there’s a lot of power in journaling because it’s a powerful tool for maintaining perspective.

Add one of these to the care package so your friend can document their adventures. It’ll give them something to look back on to see how much they’ve overcome and motivate them to keep going.

Bonus tips, if you write a personal note in there for them too.

If they enjoy reading, you could also get them a copy of my latest book which profiles people who work in the travel industry around the world.
